IIMCT Pakistan Railway Hospital is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nursing Instructor. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated nursing professional who is passionate about continuous nursing education, quality patient care, and mentoring the next generation of nursing leaders.
As a Nursing Educator, you will play a key role in fostering a professional and supportive learning environment, implementing ongoing training programs, and strengthening the academic and clinical skills of nursing staff and students.
The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and oversee nursing education programs that improve the quality of nursing services while supporting the Principal, School of Nursing, and Nursing Manager in all education-related functions in alignment with healthcare standards.
Conduct pre-employment assessments of staff nurses and assist in the recruitment process.
Design and implement competency-based orientation programs for new nursing staff.
Organize in-service training programs based on needs assessment.
Perform daily clinical rounds, review nursing documentation, and provide on-the-spot teaching as required.
Prepare and implement monthly and yearly teaching calendars.
Deliver classroom and clinical teaching sessions on various nursing-related topics.
Demonstrate clinical expertise and serve as a role model for staff nurses and students.
Participate in curriculum development, course outlines, and evaluation processes.
Provide academic and administrative support for nursing school activities.
Uphold Islamic and professional medical ethics in all duties in line with IIMCT’s mission.
Ensure compliance with healthcare quality and patient safety standards.
Education: B.Sc. Nursing or Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing.
Experience: 8–10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in teaching, training, or clinical education roles.
Strong clinical knowledge with proven teaching and leadership skills.
